Christmas

We had a beautiful Christmas up here in the north country. Kacey had so many presents! I usually buy just a few toys and do all of the necessities- like underwear and socks, winter clothes, etc. Mom and dad do most of the toys and really fun stuff. She got a couple of beautiful dolls that are like the American Girl dolls, only the ones that are sold at Target. She also got a horse for them to ride on. This kid has so many horse toys, in all sizes. I bought her a webkin that is a little black and brown daschund, like our dog Sophie. It was so much fun watching her open everything. She is very spoiled, but I tried really hard to help her understand the true meaning of Chrismas this year.
I had a very candle Christmas! I have always loved candles. When I lived in UT I bought Salt City candles. When I lived in AZ I bought Gold Canyon candles. Now that I am home I stick with good old Yankee candles. My very favorite scents are Lemon & Lavender, and Granny Smith. Granny Smith isn't being made anymore, and I have had difficulty finding Lemon & Lavender in any of the stores around here. Mom found both scents at the Yankee outlet store and gave them to me for Christmas. It was great.
Hope your Christmas was as nice as ours.

What a fun Christmas you had! We tried to do the same for our boys...they really don't need us to buy toys when grandparents are around. It's amazing how many toys we own that we didn't buy for the boys...all from extended family and friends.

Sounds wonderful. We are blessed too and our girls got so much from so many aunts and uncle Trav, grandparents and cousins. It's crazy. But what do you do when they are the only children around?? Seeing things thur their eyes is just the fun-est.

I'm glad to hear you had a nice Christmas after feeling so sick before.

I have developed a really sensitive nose for some reason, and scented candles give me headaches now. So now I have a whole box of salt city and gold canyon candles that are half-used sitting in my storage room. Come visit me and take them away! :)

I would like to say that Aramie got more than a few candles from her parents for Christmas, just for the record.
I think your new guy is so handsome(if a little big in the head). He looks like a perfect match . You look so cute in that picture and happy, too. Hurrah for Gerry.
