Below Zero!

I'm so cold! It was -1 out this morning as I was driving to work, and with the wind chill factor it was supposed to feel like -18. I do not get cold very easily, but even I am sleeping under my down comforter these days. I remember when we were yonger I would need only a sheet or a light blanket to sleep comfortably, where as my sister would have her electric blanket on and 5 or 6 blankets on over it! I do have a little more insulation than Hill.
I love the Christmas season! I love to watch Christmas movies, listen to Christmas music, and do all of the fun holiday stuff. What is your favorite Christmas movie? I think mine is A Christmas Story and I love Home Alone too. How about your favorite Christmas song or album? I love Bring Your Torch Jeannette Isabela and The Holly and the Ivy.
I would like to do the 12 Days of Christmas for a family in our branch that just had their 5th baby. If anybody has any good ideas on what to do for each day, I'm all ears!

who just had their 5th baby? man, it is so cold there! i remember when we moved there and i could not believe that that kind of cold existed and that people could survive in it. we just barely started needing sweatshirts this past weekend (and only at night). it must be cold for you to be under your down comforter! how is Kacey's body temp? i love A Christmas Story and Grinch (cartoon, NOT carrey), i also love to listen to the Chipmunk Christmas album. my favorite Christmas sond ever is O, Holy Night, preferably when the phantom is singing it. can you believe Christmas is less than 3 weeks away?! i haven't done ANY shopping yet. i don't even have my tree up! as for the family, you could do coloring books and crayons for each of the kids, mcdonald's coupons, ice-cream sundae fixins, socks for each family member, cookies, and i'm all out of ideas. that's a good idea. i wish i were rich and could do something cool for someone. i love you and i miss you.

Miracle on 34th street, It's a Wonderful Life and White Christmas.

Sorry it's so cold. You just need to move back south again where we just have hot and hotter than hell. Then you'll wish for a little cold breeze every now and then.

Merry Christmas to you all.

I'm with you, I love A Christmas Story. Heck, I like all Christmas movies.
As for the 12 day's of Christmas, I heard a cool little idea is to buy a 12 piece nativity set and every night leave a piece of it on the doorstep. The last piece to leave is baby Jesus.
Stay warm, love ya!

A Christmas Story, Elf, Home Alone, How the Grinch Stole Christmas (animated)... Hmm, I can't think of anything else but I'm sure there are others!

I just love the cheesy movies hallmark does, but I have to watch them when Shay is gone, he just doesn't get it. I love the Nativity idea, very cool. It would give the kids something to look forward to and not too expensive.
