More on Fall

Another glorious fall day!

Do you have a favorite Halloween movie? Kacey and I love the movie Hocus Pocus starring Bette Midler, Kathy Najimy, and Sarah Jessica Parker. Kacey also likes Barney's Halloween Party. As far as Barney goes it's not bad. I wouldn't recommend it for those of you who do not have young children. One of my family's favorites is Watcher In The Woods. That movie was VERY scary to us when we were younger. We also really like Lady In White. I don't think I will let Kacey watch these 2 movies for quite a long time still.

One of my favorite candles to burn during the fall is Harvest by Yankee Candle. Another favorite is Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin by White Barn Candle Company. You can buy it at Bath & Body Works, and it is fabulous! I buy them in the wallflowers too and plug them in all over the place! Wallflowers are basically glorified Glade plug-ins. They are way over-priced, so I stock up on them in January and July during Bath & Body Works semi-annual sale. They are usually cheap on black Friday too. It comes in a fragrance oil as well, but I haven't had much luck with those.

"Watcher In the Woods" is one of my favorite movies ... it scared the poop out of me the fist time I saw it. I was suprised that the movie was made by Disney. My kids like it too and they really like that "Hocus Pocus" on too ... I could never get into that one.

I'm going to try to get Nate-poo to watch Nightmare Before Christmas. Oh wait, how about Edward Scissorhands? That can be a pretty good Halloween movie. I LOVE HALLOWEEN!!!!

The Changeling is one of my favorites, though Watcher in the Woods is definitely a good'un.

I love a scary movie from the 60's with Bette Davis called "Hush,Hush Sweet Charlotte". MY grandmother took me to see it when I was 9 or 10 AND it scared the pooh out of me! Has anyone else seen it?
