A tearful goodbye to Bath & Body Works

Well, I don't think I will actually shed any tears. I won't miss working Saturdays and evenings for sure. I really enjoy the people I work with, and that is the only thing I will miss (besides my employee discount). I got a new job, and it came about so suddenly. My brother Aaron works construction for a guy named Gabe. He also works part-time at UPS, but hates it. Gabe knows Aaron would like something full-time, but he doesn't have the hours to give him that. Gabe's wife runs a pre-school/early intervention program called North Country Kids. She is looking for a teacher's assistant and offered Aaron the job. That's not exactly something Aaron would enjoy, so he said that maybe I would be interested. The wife is Stephanie, and she called me and I interviewed the next day and got the job! It pays much better than B & B W, and my hours are 8:15am-1:15pm, so I will be home in plenty of time to pick Kacey up from school. It will also look good on my resume when I am done with school and looking for a teaching position.

I will be working with pre-school aged special needs children. It is definitely going to be a challenge, but I think I will enjoy it. What a blessing! It literally just fell into my lap.

Oh- my friend Shirley (Jon's mom) sent me a photo of Kacey when she was running for Jon that I thought I would share. As she was reaching the finish line, dad and I were yelling for her and she is looking off at me and dad.
