Great News!

Hillary was officially diagnosed with MS today. The joyous news is that she has the most mild form- relapsing/remitting. They caught it early and the outlook is good. I am so happy! Is this perhaps the work of my Pink Bird of Happiness? I don't think so. I am so grateful to Heavenly Father for watching over my most beloved sister. She is the best person I know, and I know that this will only make her stronger. She is my hero.
We all love our sisters, don't we? My mom and her sisters are pretty close. I asked my friend Erin (Matt's mom) if she and her younger sister are good friends. She said that although they do stuff together now and then, they are very different and don't have a lot in common.
I think the common thread among true sisters (at least the ones I know) is the gospel. I wouldn't know most of my dear friends (those of you listed in my friends and family) if it weren't for the true gospel of Jesus Christ, and I am thankful for it, and for all of you every day!
After reading this post, get on the phone and tell your sister(s) how very much you love them! Friends will come and go, but sisters are forever.
I love you, Hillary.

I am so glad to hear that Hil is doing well. I sure do love that girl. I must admilt that I am pretty fond of my little sister these days. Growing up was tough but we both made it through and I am better because of her. She inspires me. So I know how hard it is to see her go through hard times.

thank you, Aramie, for pretending that i am better than i really am. i love you so much and am so thankful for you. when we were waiting to find out about the ms thing, i was lonely and i told Frankie i wanted him to stay home with me. he said, "I can't. what can i do to make you feel better?" i said, "Bring my sister out here!" he said, "i can't afford it right now. will anyone else do?" i was disgusted at the suggestion and told him no. i just love you and miss you all the time. anyway, yes Aramie's blogging buds---her pinks are always tastefully done and though her big, fat, pink bird sounds atrocious, i have no doubt but that it is unique and classy. all of Aramie's decor is really well done and mirror's Aramie's well put together style. there is a questionable array of cherubs on one wall, but she was the first to question it. her bedroom is my dream room---it's so classy and pretty and well done. mine looks like the EZ 8 motel in phoenix. Aramie, Happy Birthday! you deserve the best day ever. and i would agree with Haley except that i am familiar with the selection in the north country and i must advise against it.

Fear not, my dear sister- no North Country men were kissed.

That is such great news, and I appreciate you sharing it with us. I have just been worried sick about her, and was hoping at some point you would get back to us about it. I too have the gospel to thank for all my wonderful friends and sisters. Couldn't get through life without them.
