So here's the scoop- Matt & I are getting married October 1st at the Plattsburgh chapel. President Gutierrez is going to marry us, and the only guests will be my parents, Kacey, and possibly a few of the branch members. There will be no announcements- sorry. I will send everyone a Christmas card & sign it "Aramie Christopherson." Having my sealing to Joey cancelled is turning out to be kind of a nightmare, so we have decided to get married now so that we can start our life together, and then we will be sealed on our 1st anniversary. At that time all of our friends and families will hopefully join us at the San Antonio temple where we will be bound together for eternity! I am including photos of my shoes and dress. My dress actually has an ivory colored slip- not a nude one like in the photo.

So sorry that things with Joey just can't end NOW!!!! But I am all for you not wasting any more of your life on him! Starting over with Matt is going to be so much fun and what a blessing for you and Kacey! Where will you live? I'm not sure if I know where you met Matt, was it locally and so you will stay there? Or are you moving somewhere? What ever, I love you and wish you nothing but happiness!

what? you are not getting married in the TEMPLE? what did you DO? there must be a grave sin there, right? it can't be that a temple divorce is very serious and takes a long time, no, that's not nearly scandalous enough. how can i gossip about that?

And I agree with Judd (Hil) about needing some more gossip fodder. You can be vague about it when people ask and say that the two of you need to resolve some "issues" before you get permission to be sealed. That will keep them talking!
I tell people that my fiance and I were engaged for 18 months and then I let them think the worst. I don't let them know that he was in another country for all that time and couldn't get a visa to come. I just let them judge away.
