A short post while I think of something long post-worthy. I discovered this lip gloss after reading about it in a magazine. It is by Too Faced and it is called Mirror Mirror gloss. It only comes in 4 shades, which might be disappointing to some, but for me it means that I don't have to spend hours agonizing over which one to buy. I have it in "I'm Perfect." It's a nice, neutral shade that has a tasty banana flavor. I haven't yet graduated to every day lipstick use, so I am all about the gloss. I also have MAC lip glass in several shades, which is great as well. I like Mirror Mirror because it lasts a long time, but is not so sticky that it gets all gross on your lips after a while. Tasty banana flavor? Not so sure.
this was a very helpful and informative post! i, too, cannot wear lipstick for some reason, so when it's not simply burts bees, i do gloss as well. i use estee lauder, but mostly b/c it was a free gift with my perfume! i like it, but it doesn't last very long. i'll have to try your suggestion. plus, i really like banana flavors, too!
The different colors have different flavors, Hill, so if you want the tasty banana flavor you will have to buy it in "I'm Perfect". I think it's okay for people who are not perfect to buy it, but just to be safe you should probably ask a sales associate ;)
now that's just good, solid advice. i've had similar problems in the past.
I am the same way. I hate lipstick because I seem to have a hard time finding a color that I like and it gets too goopy and gross. I will have to look into these. My favorite glosses right now are a strawberry daquri flavor from sephora. I don't know what brand but on the back the directions say to MELT it onto your lips twice a day. :) My other new favorite is Nicole Miller's lip plump. It is yellow in the tube, but tastes of passion fruit and gives your lips a nice shine.
