Naked butts and bears

Today I looked out the living room window just in time to see a couple of tiny, bare butts poking out from under Matt's playhouse across the street. Yes, we've come to this. Kacey and Matt are showing each other their business. A few weeks ago I overheard them outside talking about kissing each other, and I put a quick end to that. I should have known that it was only a matter of time...... I had a talk with her, and she was very embarrassed and cried. I felt so bad because I don't want her to feel ashamed, but I don't want her pulling her pants down for all to see either! Let's hope this is the end of that for a while!
I'm watching a show on Animal Planet called ManEaters. It is about animal attacks. They are talking about bear attacks. Have any of you seen the documentary called Grizzly Man? It's about a guy who went to Alaska every summer for many years to live among the grizzly bears there. He was very passionate about protecting the bears, and I thought that was weird because the bears there are protected under law. Who or what do these bears (who are the largest grizzlies in the world) need protection from? He met a very sad end. The last summer that he was there the berry yield were very poor and the salmon run was very late. He stayed later than usual (I believe he was still there into September). He was attacked and eaten. I can't imagine a more terrifying way to die. I was never really afraid of bears until I watched that documentary. We live in a very woodsy place. Now when I am taking my walk I am wondering if I am being stalked by a mountain lion or bear! My dad is amused by my paranoia. I think my will to survive could sustain me. Bring it, black bear! I'll send you crying home to your mama!

Yes I've seen that documentary. It was good and I am much more afraid of bears than I use to be also.

Boy kids grow up so fast don't they. I didn't know that Kacey was ready to teach the neighbor boy the facts of life. Poor you.

At least you don't have a little boy who at one point in life wanted to hump peoples legs!!!! Glad we are over that, but he loves that little pee-pee of his!
