It has come to my attention lately that I am very, very lonely. Sometimes I think that if I were not still married I might be ready to start dating again. Other times I think it will still be a long time before I am ready. Most of the time (especially at church on Sundays) I am reminded that even if I were divorced, there isn't a soul worth dating up here in the frigid north. Maybe when I am finally divorced I will check out the meat market in Vermont, though I can't imagine that the selection is much better on that side of the lake.
Last Sunday I was asked if I would speak in Malone today. Malone is another dinky little branch who, up until about a month ago, was meeting in a gas station on Sundays. They now have a small chapel. I spoke there today about praying with faith. The branch president there seemed surprisingly normal (as in not from this area). His son just returned from a mission to Russia, and I must say that he was very easy on the eyes. Tall, dark, very blue eyes. I am not generally attracted to skinny guys, and as luck would have it he was solidly built. I began to imagine what our children would look like, what a good father he would be to Kacey, my next wedding dress, then I remembered that I am old enough to be a much older sister, an aunt, or possibly even someone who babysat him when he was a baby! When did I get too old for young 20-something guys? Wasn't it just yesterday that I WAS a young 20-something? Oh how sad the realization was. How old was Josephine North when she and David got married?.........

I think she was either 8 or 10 years older than him.
There is someone for you. I'm just not sure he is in NY. Be open to things new.
Oh Aramie....I'm sorry. I would say to come to Utah, but I don't know if that is the best think either. I think there are a bunch of weirdo's here. LOL But I would love for you to move here anyway!!! :) I don't know how old Josephine was when she married Dave, but i do know that she is nine years older than Dave! Go ahead.....Ask the missionary out. He would be lucky to have a date with you!!! I mean after you are divorced of course!! LOL
ask him out and is you realize that you are not destined to be together then give him my number because i could really use some action
Think how easy he'll be to train...give him a try. Women outlive men anyway, marrying a guy a little younger than you would be a good idea.
you can be the suga mama!
Oh my Little Yankee Belle you always make me smile. You have a wonder way of telling a story that is unique and interesting. Love Ya
P S I'm glad your back, I missed your comments while you were sick.
Where did our 20's go? I can't believe how time flies. I see teenagers driving now days, and they honestly don't look a day over 12. Did we really look that young at the age? I remember feeling like I was so old and mature.
Girl, get divorced and then change your middle name to COUGAR! Not as in a BYU alum but as in a hot, older woman who goes after HOT younger men. Technically you're probably not old enough to be a true Cougar, but who says you can't start early!! :)
I am just now getting caught up to your blog and oh. my. gosh. a GAS station??? You are officially crowned "most amazing person I know."
P.S. If I learned one thing in High School, it's that younger men are awesome. They are so appreciative and kind and considerate. Older men - bleh. Except for Jonathan. But he's only 50 weeks older than I am - so that doesn't count. Miss your guts!!!
