Good day to all my beloved blogging amigos! I had a lovely day. Mom, Dad, Kacey and I went across Lake Champlain to Burlington, VT where I had my doctor's appointment. Kacey had great fun on the ferry with her Pappi. They got out of the car and walked up to the top to get a bird's eye view. The day was pretty warm- about 60 degrees, so that combined with the ice that still covers a big part of the lake created a lot of fog. Mom is really afraid to ride the ferry, but she did really well. No freaking out this time.
We went to a pediatric neurosurgeon named Isabella Taraczevithk (spelling might be off there). She's a Polish French-Canadian and her last name is pronounced Tara-shave-itch. She was very personable and I liked her a lot. She wants me to come in July to have a full spine and brain scan. I guess the MRI films I brought from our hospital here didn't tell her much. She was hoping for a more thorough study I guess. She did say that as far as she can tell (from the films I brought today) I only have 3 tumors. That was definitely reassuring. I got over being bummed out last week, so nothing she could have told me would have made me sad. I think generally I get over bad news relatively quick. My divorce is a different story all together, so I don't really put it in the same category with other disappointments. Anyway, for right now everything is fine and I am glad.
We went to The Olive Garden for lunch and Kacey was very impressed. She said "this restaurant is so fancy!" Obviously we don't get out much. McDonalds is our treat after dance on Wednesday nights! That's about as fancy as it gets up here. She loved the salad and took 3 breadsticks for herself before she had even tasted them. She didn't want her Sprite, and since dad just ordered water mom asked her if dad could have it. "No, he is fine just having water," was her reply. Geez, she won't even share the Sprite she doesn't want with her Pappi! We are still in the difficulty with sharing phase. Do they ever grow out of it? Depending on the item, I still have a hard time sharing! You want a bite of my chocolate cake? No way!!!!!
We topped off the day with a stop at Mecca- TJ Maxx. Mom was looking for some accent pillows for her new bedspread. She found them and was kind enough to buy me a very cute pair of peek toe wedges. They are bright pink and super cute! IThey match my Easter dress, which I didn't get to wear on Easter Sunday because Kacey was sick. Is it still a spending problem if it's someone else's money and they knowingly spend it on you? I hope not, cause I'm not giving them back!
So, that was my day. Kacey is well enough to return to school tomorrow, and life will be back to normal. Sounds good.

I'm so glad that the Dr. Appointment went well. I hope that all things will continue to go well for you. Sounds like a very fun day, new shoes and all.
I am glad to hear that you are doing well. trust me when I say that I wish that I could bare some of your burdens. I love you that much. Just remember only the good die young so you should live a long, long, long life. I love having evil friends.
What a relief! I hope it stays that way! You have such a great attitude!
