I made this necklace. No I didn't. It's wrong to lie. I wish I made this necklace. There. That's better. In my old age I have developed a touch of agoraphobia. I get anxious and even enraged in crowded spaces- big, and especially small. To avoid hysteria and the need for an oxygen tank during the holidays, I try to buy my Christmas presents as early as possible. I managed to get most of it done in September this year. This way I can avoid the crowds and spend my time baking, decorating, and making the rest of my presents.
I like to make crafty little what-nots to give as gifts. I went to the semi-annual craft fair that we have up here yesterday and was really impressed. Usually there are tons of lame booths selling things like John Deer or Nascar fabric pillows, and ugly crocheted toilet paper roll covers- Never again, Hill. Never. Again. Never.
Anyway, I was so inspired, and came away with some good ideas. I made some really cute ornaments for all of my co-workers last year, and was so pleased that everyone loved them so much. It's very satisfying to make something beautiful to give to someone you love. Happy Christmas to everyone, and oh yeah- a happy Thanksgiving too ;)

Aramie, your craftiness and good ideas astound me. that sounded sarcarstic, but i'm being sincere. and please learn how to make that necklace and then make one for me. Aramie, you say it every year, but you always return. you really should open a booth at that fair so that someone else can come away saying, "that fair was super lame, but that Aramie booth made it so worth it! she and her sister, assuming she has an awesome one, should start a company together and make really great things. they'd be so rich and successful." you are so smart for shopping early. we bought Darby's big present yesterday. it is a Hello Kitty bike. we had Darby with us so that we could find the right size, so i guess she can't get one from Santa. i won't ruin the surprise for all you innocent readers, but Darby can't see her mom and Dad buying her present from santa. the elves make those. so anyway, she is so excited and we had to hide it (of course). she calls it her Hello Beauty Cat bike. she's so cute.
Oh, you Judd girls make me smile! Every one of you :)
