Well, I just got off of the phone with my Mexican divorce lawyer. I expect to be divorced in about a month. Hooray! We've been seperated for almost 3 years. I've been waiting, and waiting, and waiting for him to file, but he must have spent his mom's check on something else. Probably fast food and video games. I already feel such a sense of relief knowing that it will all be over soon. I've had a long time to mourn and I'm ready to be a free agent again.
The Relief Society dinner went just fine. The casserole I made is called Chicken Tortilla Casserole. It's my dad's favorite. I'm going to post the recipe for Elizabeth because yes, you should have it. It's very good, if you like Mexican-ish food. I say Mexican-ish food because I don't know what else to call it. Should I call it Tex-Mex? Casseroles are completely foreign to Mexico, so it's definitely not authentically Mexican.
I'm wondering today if clipping coupons is really worth the effort. Does anybody out there clip and use coupons regularly? The only coupons I use with any frequency are the ones for free stuff with any purchase at Bath & Body Works, and the 40% off of one item at Michael's. I love the Michael's coupon. Next week I have one for 50% off of one item. Yeehaw! Life is good! I do occassionally clip grocery coupons if it is something we use, but I always forget about them and they go to waste.
Another question- do any of you get manicures and/or pedicures regularly? The only pedicure I've ever had was the day before my wedding (what a waste of a perfectly good pedicure). If there was a place around here where the people weren't mean little asian devils who talk bad about you in a foreign language, I might go. Fake nails are not for me. I have nice nails, and sometimes I want to get a manicure, but like I said, I don't like the asian places around here. Do any of you go to an actual hair salon where they do nails also? Do you think it's worth it, or should I just continue to do my own nails? How much should I expect to pay for a manicure on my own fingernails? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I think you should go to the mean little asians. They may be mean but they sure can work wonders on your feet.
I love fake nails but they are way too high maintenance.
Oh and congrats on the almost divorce! You should have a divorce party. I think they do those things.
I did recieve one pedicure once (not on my wedding, I'm too cheap. My sister paid for it), I loved it and felt so sexy. It made my fingers look long and elegant. But my poor fingernails are still a little warped. You have to be careful where you go so you don't get some fingernail fungus. That doesn't help at all, sorry.
Love ya!
I'm a little concerned about the Mexican Divorce thing. What if Joey presses charges against you signing his name? I like the looks of your Mexican casserole, I think I'll try it. Maybe since this post is so Mexican you could find some little Mexicans to do your pedicures, at least you'd be able to understand them wheh they talk evil about you.
1. Thank you so much for the recipes. I tried your pasta roni recipe today for lunch. Loved it. And I loved most that it was the easiest thing ever to make!
2.Good for you for moving on. There are much better men out there just waiting to be found by you!
3. I always go to the mean Asian people. I don't care what they say about me.....The price is right!!
I hate fake nails too, i only get pedicures. I go at least once a month (thats all I can fit in my budget!) or I would go twice. I do go to the asians, but fortunatly my asians are very nice & speak very good english.lol
I'm confused...Mexican diivorce attorney? That sounds like a character in a bad comedy movie.
