Color Me Beautiful and granola

I have a pair of size 6 jeans that I have held onto in the hopes that one day I will be able to wear them again. I haven't been able to squeeze into them since I got engaged and moved back to Georiga (I gained 10 lbs. the month before my wedding). I am still hopeful that they will fit me again one day, but because I am no longer a size 6 I have to come up with creative ways to accentuate the positive aspects of my appearance. When my mom was around my age there was a craze going around called Color Me Beautiful. I'm sure you've all heard of it- it's a system that determines your best colors based on your hair color and skin tone. You are either a Spring, Summer, Fall, or Winter. I have dark brown hair and cool tones to my skin and hair, so I am a Winter. Most of the women in the world are because most are Latino, Asian, African- you get it. Me and my Mexican sistahs! Can I get a what what? Sorry. I don't know where that came from. Anyway, winters look best in white, black, and jewel tones. I get lots of compliments when I were emerald green, or a darkish red. Orangey-red looks horrible on me. If you would like to take the quiz to determine which season you are, click here. It's just a way to help you choose colors that are flattering.
If you don't like granola this paragraph will bore you. I like granola a lot, but rarely find store bought granola that I like. Usually it isn't all that healthy anyway. I have a good recipe for granola, but I found a store bought granola that is soooo good! It's Kashi Mountain Medley granola. You have to be a nut lover like me to love this stuff. It has almonds, pecans, and sunflower seed kernels. It also has raisins and cranberries. There are 6 grams of dietary fiber per 1/2 cup serving, as well as 6 grams of protein (which helps you to feel fuller longer). It is all natural too. I love this stuff. I really hate Kashi Go Lean cereal. It makes me want to dry-heave, but their granola is great.
There is still time to comment on my previous post to be entered to win the 1-year subscription to Country Living! Kacey will draw the name on Sunday.

Okay I have the hardest time with this because I think I am a mixture of both...is that possible. I have read before that you can look at your vein color to determine your colors...more green=warm and more blue=cool. I seriously think I have half of each.

I did it and I was an autumn. Which is true...I always get complimented when I wear bright red, royal blue or pinks. That is a cool sight though.
P.S. I'm so glad that I get to be the one to help you and that I get to be your blogging guider. LOL It makes me feel special! So thanks for letting me do that for you, and for me!
