Mrs. Haley Judd! Congratulations Haley- be on the look-out for your new magazine. I had Kacey draw the names from a bowl. My mom was standing there as a witness. I'm not providing visual proof because I'm too lazy.
I was able to go to church today and it was good. I teach the youth Sunday School class. There are about 10 active kids, and a few more who come when they feel like it. I feel like I'm better with teenagers than younger kids. I feel too much like a babysitter with little kids. I did a lot of babysitting when I was a teenager, but I never enjoyed it. It was all about that $2.00 an hour for me! I've never had a babysitter for Kacey. What is the going rate these days?
When I was getting dressed this morning I went to put on my Easter dress (Kacey was sick that Sunday and I didn't get to go) and I couldn't zip it up! Literally could not zip it up. My mom tried- no dice. I even layed down on the bed and tried to zip it up and couldn't. How on earth did I gain that much weight in a month?!? What a horrifying realization that was. I'm going to have to make some drastic changes. Diet starts Monday!
Do you guys know who the actor Jon Corbett is? He was in My Big Fat Greek Wedding among many other things. I saw him on a lifetime made for tv movie yesterday, and was reminded of how hot he is. My taste in men seems to differ greatly from that of my conteporaries. I like guys who are solidly built. A skinny man is not for me! I like men who are abnormally tall too (though Joey is only 5'9"). I don't know why. Maybe it's because I'm only 5'2". When I look in my bathroom mirror, all I can see is the top of my head. I have to stand on my tip-toes or on a stool to do my make-up. My true love is Gerard Butler. It wasn't Raul who won my heart in Phantom of the Opera- it was the phantom himself. Sigh. I need a date. When I was married (I don't think of myself as married anymore though technically I am) I didn't have my movie star boyfriends like I do now. It's kind of wierd to be in this situation. Almost all of my friends are married with kids, now I am a mom but not a wife. I'm too old for young single adults now. The men who will be asking me out will be my parents age. This is so bizarre. I told Erin that I am going to write a book about my experiences as a young LDS mom going through a divorce. It will have to be really funny, and yet inspirational. I don't even know where to begin with it right now, but someday the words will come! I think the words will come when I am on a date with a bald 53 year old insurance agent who drives a 1998 Ford Taurus (no offense, Leah). He will take me to the all-you-can-eat buffet at the chinese restaurant where he will use a 2-for-1 coupon. It will be expired and he will argue with the girl at the cash register. They will finally accept the coupon with the understanding that we are never to return. I will keep you posted. Hopefully I will never be in this situation. I don't think I would agree to a date with a man that much older than me (unless the price was right=)

Congratulations Haley! I love Country Living Mag. Aramie, you really should write a book. I'd buy it because you are really funny! Not your situation, but you. Sorry also about the dress, been there and done that.
I truly was and observer to the drawing and Kacey did pick Haley's name in the drawing. Kacey can't read yet so this is all above board.
I bought a pair of Levis in 1986 on sale and I am still waiting to fit into those brand new jeans.
Congratulations Haley!!!
Aramie....Where are you???
Did you go back to work or give up on bloggin? We miss you! Hope you are okay!
Thanks Aramie, I've never won anything in my life (seriously!). I'm very excited.
Girl, I live with that man who argues with the people at the Chinese restaurant about the expired coupon. It happened. On my birthday. When I turned 30. I was not happy. :)
Seriously, Aaron's great, but the man is CHEAP!!
